Unzip the downloaded folder. Copy the raw files (usually .bin , .img , or update.zip ) directly to the root of the USB drive. Do not put them in a folder.
Do not turn off the car or disconnect power during the "Upgrading" screen. ⚠️ Vital Precautions
Plug the USB into the head unit's primary USB port. Trigger Update: Go to Settings > System > System Update . The device should detect the files and ask to reboot.
If it doesn't, try pressing the pinhole while the USB is plugged in.
Sometimes after an update, the touch screen may be inverted. You may need a USB mouse to navigate back to settings to fix the "Touch Area" calibration.
