Lala comes from a highly athletic background. Her father, , was a professional football goalkeeper for the Azerbaijani national team, and her grandfather, Sergey, was also an elite Soviet-level goalkeeper. Her mother, Irina, was a biathlete.

Kramarenko quickly rose through the junior ranks, establishing herself as a "phenom" in the sport.

She was a three-time junior national all-around champion (2017–2019) and became the 2019 Junior World Champion in both the ball and clubs disciplines.
