If you forgot your admin password, you must press and hold the Reset button on the back of the router for 10 seconds to restore factory settings.
Never update firmware over Wi-Fi. A momentary signal drop can corrupt the process.
If the router rejects the file, double-check that you didn't accidentally download firmware for the MW301R or a different hardware version of the MW302R.
Visit the official Mercusys support page. Search for "MW302R" and select the "Firmware" tab. Ensure you select the version corresponding to the V1.0 hardware.
