If you have the original driver setup file (often from a CD or a legacy download), follow these steps to bypass version errors: :
Click , then OK , and run the installer as an Administrator. Generic Windows Driver (Plug and Play) :
Go to the tab and check "Run this program in compatibility mode for" .
If it isn't detected, open , right-click your webcam (under "Cameras" or "Imaging devices"), and select Update driver .
Right-click the driver installation file and select .
Choose > "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer" .
: Note that the IT-305WC is a 600K (interpolated up to 16MP) sensor. Using generic drivers may support basic video but might not enable specific features like hardware-based image flipping or special night vision controls.
