The story begins with Surjeet (Anil Dhawan), a poor farmer humiliated and murdered by the cruel landlord Thakur Gajendra Singh (Mohan Joshi) after seeking a marriage alliance for his sister.
Surjeet's final wish is for his two sons, Raju and Kishan, to grow up and marry the Thakur’s daughters, Megha and Preeti—forcing the proud landlord to eventually beg for the union.
